The World Salsa Congress Tour returns to Metro Detroit this August 19 - 21, 2011 in Troy.

A Salsa Congress is a convention of unity. People of all ages and from all over the world come together to share, learn and celebrate the dance and music of Salsa! There will be live music, world class DJs, Dance shows, demonstrations, Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Everyone is welcome.

This year’s event will be held with the support of Troy Dance Studio, in collaboration with Albert Torres and our sponsors, at the Met Troy in Troy, MI. Dancers from all over the world will converge on Troy to learn, teach and dance Salsa and other Latin dances all day and night for three  days.

Salsa is the Latin dance craze that is sweeping the nation. Detroit is fortunate to be host to this prestigious event.
